Olivia Rodrigo is taking Daisy Chain Fields to the airwaves. As announced Tuesday (Aug. 25), the pop star is teaming up with iHeartRadio for two different specials centered around her inaugural charity festival’s lineup, mission and performances during the last weekend of August.

The first of the Rodrigo-led programming will broadcast on Friday (Aug. 28) starting at 9 p.m. ET. It will involve the Grammy winner serving as guest host of iHeartRadio’s weekly She Is the Voice show to highlight the all-women Daisy Chain Fields bill that she personally curated as well as her Billboard 200-topping third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. The hourlong special will be available to listen to on both iHeartRadio ALT stations nationwide and two of the company’s digital stations, Alt Radio and She Rocks Radio. It’ll also replay nightly at 7 p.m. ET on She Rocks Radio from Aug. 28 to Sept. 4.
Then, on Monday (Aug. 31), the company will devote 30 minutes to “iHeartRadio Presents: Olivia Rodrigo: Songs from Daisy Chain Fields,” which will showcase exclusive recordings of Rodrigo’s set at the festival. Fans can tune in at 7 p.m. local time on CHR and Hot AC stations, or they can listen via iHeartRadio’s digital station Hit Nation starting at 7 p.m. ET.
Daisy Chain Fields is slated to take place in Irvine, Calif., on Saturday (Aug. 29), with artists such as Chappell Roan, Doechii, KATSEYE and more on the lineup. Rodrigo will close out the daylong event with a headlining set that night, featuring special guests Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Karen O.
All of the proceeds from the festival will go to charities supporting women and girls, including Planned Parenthood, Center for Reproductive Rights, National Domestic Workers Alliance and more. “I’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true!!” Rodrigo stated when she first announced Daisy Chain Fields. “By bringing together women in music and organizations helping shape a better future for women and girls, I hope we can build a community that inspires hope and positive change.”
Leading up to the festival, Rodrigo has also visited the offices of Planned Parenthood and Center for Reproductive Rights to discuss the most pressing issues in women’s rights and healthcare access, a cause that she’s long been outspoken about and has made one of the main focuses of the Daisy Chain Fields fund. Plus, the vocalist recently surprise-dropped standalone single “Serena Joy” — poignantly named after a character in The Handmaid’s Tale — on streaming services after a limited record store CD release. A portion of the net proceeds from the song will be funneled into the causes that are already benefiting from the festival.
