The American Idol judge made a rare joint appearance with husband Mike Fisher to cheer on the Nashville Predators as they faced the Montreal Canadiens at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville March 28.

During the game, Carrie, 43, showed her support for Mike’s former NHL team by donning a yellow Predators jersey bearing the number 12—the retired hockey star’s playing number— as the couple posed inside the arena in a photo shared on the team's Instagram page. Meanwhile, Mike, 45, held up a miniature bobblehead figurine depicting himself and his wife twinning in matching jerseys.

While the pair—who wed in 2010—seemed to enjoy their date night out, Carrie recently raved about life on the sprawling Tennessee farm she shares with Mike and their sons Isaiah, 11, and Jacob, 7, noting that their rural lifestyle is a welcome reprieve from her professional commitments in Los Angeles.

“I went from living on a farm to being on stage in front of a ton of people and traveling and we're in a different city every day,” she said during an appearance on the March 26 episode of SiriusXM's Front Row. “I learned very quickly that this is not real life.”

The “Blown Away” singer emphasized that her success in the music industry has been “so wonderful,” but stressed that “the world that that takes you to is just not real.”

“It's important for me that home is just way different than this,” she continued. “We have definitely established that. My kids see me. We get up, we take them to school, we're making breakfast, packing lunches.”

And the Grammy winner’s hands-on approach to parenting extends to the family’s evening routine.

“We eat dinner at least five nights a week at the dinner table, and it's something I cooked,” she shared, adding, “I don't know if it's good or not, but we ain't starving.”

Sharing a snowy selfie, Carrie wished her beau a “Happy Valentine’s Day” in a February 2021 post, despite it being her “least favorite holiday.”“I can’t put my finger on exactly why that is but it may be because I want my true love to love me ‘extra special’ for 365 days out of the year...not just on the one day that he’s ‘supposed’ to,” she captioned the Feb. 14 post. “That said, everyone else has been posting the sweetest pics of them and their loves, so here’s mine. My Valentine... Every. Single. Day.”

Mike joined Carrie for date night at the 2022 Grammys before winning the award for Best Roots Gospel Album for her album My Savior. The emotional win marked the American Idol winner’s eighth Grammy. 

For the 2022 CMA Awards, the couple stepped out both donning blue. Carrie stunned in a pale-blue gown, and Mike complimented her in a navy suit as they shared a rare date night on the carpet. 

Carrie and her sons joined Mike as he was inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. She supported the former Nashville Predators player on X, praising her husband.“So proud of you!!!” she wrote on the July 2023 post. “I can think of no one more deserving! Glad me and the boys could celebrate you and your accomplishments.”

After a fun day at Hershey Park with their sons, Carrie shared a glimpse into their family life in a June 2024 Instagram post. “Had a day off with the fam in PA today, so we popped down to @hersheypark for some rides, fun and food,” she captioned the sweet family pics. “The boys had SUCH a BLAST!”
