Ella Bright wasn’t creasing the truth about any on-set drama.
After she and her Off Campus costar Belmont Cameli shut down feud rumors, Bright shared how they reacted to the online speculation in real time.
“Belmont and I spend every day on set together,” she exclusively told E! News’ Keltie Knight on the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards blue carpet Sept. 27. “We're in the green room, and he's on his phone scrolling. He's like, ‘Ha! Remember when we did that?’ I was like, ‘That never happened.’”
“It's so funny. So, we're just laughing about it,” the 19-year-old continued. “That’s all you can do.”
Fans began speculating there was bad blood between Bright and Cameli—who play Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham, respectively, in the Prime Video series—after they archived photos featuring one another from their Instagram profiles.
“I mean, god forbid I wanted an aesthetic Instagram,” Bright joked. “My bad. I'm so sorry!”
But on a series note, the Malory Towers star emphasized that Belmont, along with her other Off Campus castmates—Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Antonio Cipriano and Jalen Thomas Brooks—are more than just her costars.
“So much love,” she said. “That's my family.”
And while she’s excited for fans to see Off Campus season two, Bright admitted that she’s going to miss seeing her pals every day.
“It's really fun. There's some really great ensemble moments this year,” she teased of the upcoming season, which just wrapped filming. “Everyone's obviously incredible, and it's so fun to jump back into characters that we really know really well now versus season one, where it's still a bit new and scary.
“It feels very comfortable, and it's just been a blast,” she added. “I'm really gonna miss them. I was really sad at the wrap party.”
