Daveed Diggs and Emmy Raver-Lampman are expecting another baby!
The married couple, who met while they were both starring in Hamilton, have shared the happy news that Emmy is pregnant with baby no. 2 in an Instagram post shared on Monday (July 7).
In the joint post, Emmy wrote, “our little family is growing! full disclosure, our household is being held together by the delicate balance of yogurt pouches, water balloons and a prayer but we are utterly overjoyed to be adding this tiny human to the chaos!”
She continued, “this little one has a big brother who can’t wait to ‘read books, play trains, have milkshakes and listen to Kendrick‘ with them! our hearts couldn’t be fuller and the bags under our eyes couldn’t be bigger! we can’t wait to meet you little one!”
For the photo, they chose a sweet black-and-white snapshot showing a pregnant Emmy caught mid-laugh as her husband played with their son in the background. They have not publicly shared their son’s name.
Several of their celebrity friends commented their post, like Katherine McNamara, Ashley Park, Josh Gad, and Kristen Bell.
Emmy and Daveed met in 2015 during the beloved biographical musical and then started dating about one year later.
They announced the birth of their son in March 2024 with an Instagram post where Emmy wrote, “dear baby, you have forever changed us. our hearts are filled with a kind of love we never thought possible. we love you more than you will truly ever know. thank you for choosing us. now please…go the f*ck to sleep. love, mom and dad.”
