Shep Rose is taking a trip down memory lane—literally.
The Southern Charm star revealed he recently reconnected with ex Taylor Ann Green after taking the hallucinogenic drug Ayahuasca.
"You’ve got a lot of time on your hands and your mind is certainly wandering," Shep recounted of his experience with the mind-opening drug, which is illegal in the United States but is often used medicinally in South American healing ceremonies, during a July 1 appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio. "They say you’re holding a mirror up to yourself."
During his soul searching, the 46-year-old—who split with Taylor in 2022—recalled thinking to himself, "'Why do you want more? Don't you have everything? It's all here, its's all inside of you.' And I went through this spiral."
"She loved me so much and she cared about me so much," Shep continued, "and I took it for granted and I care about her and her family very much. Thankfully, that relationship stayed somewhat connected."
And while the South Carolina native wouldn't share too many details about their reconciliation (Southern Charm is currently filming season 12), Shep did confirm he and Taylor are on the road to repairing their friendship.
"She's a little bit back in my life," he teased, "and I'm just very pleased about that."
Especially since Shep's infidelity during their relationship was a main reason for their breakup.
"I thought it was [a] gone forever situation, which I’ve never really had before," he confessed. "I’m, at least, on nice terms with my exes."
But now that he and Taylor have put the bad blood behind them, Shep remembers their two-year romance more fondly.
"We spent so much good time, so much laughter, so much adventure and intimate moments and lovely things," he added. "It’s hard for me to understand how not to honor that with whether you want to call it nostalgia or what have you."

After a rough 2020 breakup from costar Madison LeCroy, Austen found love again in 2024 with Audrey Pratt.
"We're not putting pressure on something like that so soon," Austen told E! News in December 2024 after introducing fans to Audrey during season 10 of the series. "In my opinion, far too early. But we're just having fun ad enjoying each other as much as possible."
Unfortunately, fans watched their relationship end during Southern Charm's season 11, which aired 2025.
Madison and husband Brett Randle tied the knot during a destination wedding in November 2022.
Following the firefighter's battle with thyroid cancer, Madison announced in February 2025 that she and Brett were expecting their first child together.
The couple welcomed daughter Teddi (named after her late father Ted LeCroy) in July 2025. (She is also mom to 12-year-old son Hudson with ex John Hughes.)
Following her extremely messy split from Shep Rose, Taylor moved on in 2023 with Gaston Rojas, who Bravo fans might recognize from his past appearances on Southern Hospitality.
"I finally feel like an equal, and this is actually real because we're talking about the next steps," she told People in November 2024 of the medical sales rep. "Every decision that he makes, I'm priority. I take precedence and I'm always like, 'I really appreciate that. I want you to do what you want to do. But I appreciate that because I've never had that in any of my relationships.'"
The two met through mutual friends during a hangout that turned into an "accidental date," according to Taylor.
Shep fell hard for Miss Bahamas Sienna Evans during Charm's 10th season, but it quickly became clear to both his costars and viewers she just wasn't that into him.
And despite professing his love for the model during the cast trip to her home country, she broke his heart in front of all of his friends.
"I think it was really sad to see a fan use him, because I think Shep was actually in love with her," Venita told E! News in December 2024. "And this is the first time we see Shep in love and she just used him."
Much of season 10 followed Craig and then-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo navigating their long-distance relationship. And while Craig made it clear he wanted to settle down and start a family sooner rather than later, Paige's increasingly busy career became an issue in the Bravo stars' three-year romance.
"I feel a little bad for Craig because I am a completely different person than the girl he started dating three years ago," the Giggly Squad podcast cohost admitted during a confessional on the Bravo series' Feb. 19 episode. "I'm busier, I'm not around as much, I change my mind on a lot of things like marriage and moving and a baby."
Following their split in November 2024, both Craig and Paige denied cheating was a factor in their breakup, which Craig called a surprise.
Craig remains single and on the search for his soulmate.
Rodrigo and boyfriend of nine years Tyler Dugas got engaged in September 2024 after the Charmer proposed to Tyler in Santorini, Greece during his 40th birthday trip.
"He was completely, completely in shock," Rodrigo told People at the time. "He was just kind of dumbstruck. Eventually I was like, 'Well, you never said yes.' And then he proceeded to spend the next 15 minutes crying about how happy he was."
Rodrigo and Tyler plan to say "I do" in 2026 in Charleston.
Despite the possibility of a season 10 romance between him and Venita, JT dropped a bombshell during the show's Jan. 30, 2025 episode when he revealed he secretly had a girlfriend.
The real estate mogul has kept his romance with the woman—named Ali—private since he walked away from the show in November 2024.
Venita revealed at the start of season 10 that she and boyfriend Manny had broken up after he decided to pursue his dreams of being on Broadway. That left the influencer single and free to act on her feelings for costar JT...until he friend-zoned her hard.
Ventia later clarified she did not know he had a secret girlfriend while trying to pursue JT on the show.
“Let me make something VERY CLEAR. That dinner JT and I had after I made a Branzino was AFTER the Bahamas yall as an audience saw it BEFORE,” she wrote on Instagram in March 2025. “So this weeks episode is now making me look like I’m a home wrecker when I’m not. I know what I signed up for but I also will not allow the world to think I’m that woman when I’m not.”
Since then, the influencer has sparked romance rumors with Summer House's Carl Radke, though neither have confirmed the speculation.
Patricia Altschul's longtime friend Ryan joined Southern Charm during season 10 in 2024, and fans quickly fell in love with him and his husband Dr. Eddie Irions. The two first met after Ryan reached out to Eddie on Instagram—and the rest is history.
“We were both inseparable from that weekend forward,” Ryan told Over the Moon blog in 2022. “It was as if we had been waiting our entire lives for each other, and we both immediately felt it.”
Since marrying the gastroenterologist in October 2021, Ryan is a proud stay-at-home spouse.
Leva and husband Lamar Bonaparte—who are parents to 6-year-old son Lamar Jr.—have taken the Charleston restaurant and club scene by storm after getting married in 2013 and since she joined the show during season seven in 2020.
Their hotspot Republic is the setting for their Bravo spinoff Southern Hospitality.
As for what it's like working with her spouse, Leva told Bravo's The Daily Dish in 2022, “He kind of throws the hammer down. If he walks in, they know, ‘Dad is mad,’ and it’s really gonna be a problem. [Our employees] don’t even want to see him here.”
Despite featuring her romance with then-boyfriend Andrew Dietz on Southern Charm's 10th season, Salley confirmed in January 2025 that they had broken up and she's currently single.
Prior to their split, Salley admitted Andrew wasn't the kind of guy she usually falls for.
“I’m typically with a businessman,” she said in a confessional. "I feel like, you know, really aggressive? But Andrew wants to communicate everything and talk so soft. I don’t know. I love that my type’s changing.”
During the show's 11th season, Salley pursued Austen hard, but was never able to seal the deal with him.
While the ex-model flirted with the idea of romancing Shep after joining season 10, Molly remains single and ready to mingle.
"I’m not, like, in love with Shep or anything," she stated during a March 2025 episode. "I've obviously seen Shep date people. I'm not, like, putting my eggs in that basket."
