The 62nd Academy of Country Music Awards is set for Sunday, May 16, 2027, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This will be the sixth consecutive year that the show has streamed on Prime Video, and the second year in a row it has been held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The show was held at Ford Center at The Star, Frisco, Texas, from 2023 to 2025.

This will be the second year in a row that the show has streamed on a Sunday night, which is regarded as the optimal night for awards-show viewing. The show was held on a Monday night in its first outing on Prime Video in 2022, and on a Thursday night the next three years.

According to Greyhill Advisors, a leading economic analysis consulting firm, the 61st ACM Awards on May 17, 2026, generated an estimated $53 million in total economic impact for the Las Vegas region. This constituted an 85% year-over-year increase in economic impact compared to the 2025 show. (Visit Frisco estimated that the 60th ACM Awards generated $28.7 million in economic impact for Frisco and the surrounding region.)

  • The 2026 event in Las Vegas generated $15.7 million in increased employee earnings across industries ranging from television production and event operations to hospitality and transportation.
  • Visitor spending alone accounted for $24.3 million of the total economic impact and generated $7.8 million in worker earnings.
  • A full week of related concerts, brunches, dinners, pre-parties, after-parties, and fan and industry events generated an additional $4.5 million in economic activity for local hotels, restaurants, venues and businesses.

The host for the 2027 show has not yet been named. Shania Twain hosted the 2026 show. Reba McEntire had hosted the two previous shows. Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks cohosted in 2023. Parton hosted with Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett in 2022.

Ella Langley led all winners with seven trophies, setting a new benchmark for the most ACM wins by a single artist in one year. Cody Johnson earned his first ACM entertainer of the year award.

The 61st ACM Awards was produced by Dick Clark Productions. Raj Kapoor and Patrick Menton were executive producers, with Kapoor also serving as showrunner. Damon Whiteside served as executive producer for the Academy of Country Music, and Jay Penske and Barry Adelman served as executive producers for DCP. John Saade also served as consulting producer for Amazon MGM Studios.
