Salley Carson is clarifying her relationship status with Kyle Cooke.
The 31-year-old Southern Charm star and the 44-year-old Summer House star sparked dating rumors earlier this year after being seen kissing in New York City, and have continued to fuel speculation since.
During a new interview on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio this week, Salley shared an update and clarified where they stand at the moment.
“We see each other a lot,” she said. “We’re just friends. I mean, sometimes flirty. It depends on the vibe. I mean, when I was in New York, I was there to see Ghost and it was funny because I was standing with Kyle’s group of friends and he was like, his friend Kenny, that’s on In the City, he was like, ‘Why have you been in New York?’ And I kind of got quiet, and Kyle‘s like, ‘I think she’s here to see another guy.'”
If you don’t know, Ghost refers to a mystery man who has been seen in Salley‘s social media posts.
“He’s doing his thing,” she added about Kyle. “And you know, if he wants to call me out for guys, I’ll look at him like he’s crazy ‘cause I’m like, ‘I was with you the weekend of Fourth of July, and you left with a girl the day after?’ And I’m not mad about it, you know? He’s doing his thing.”
She was also asked if Kyle came to her and asked if they could date exclusively, and how she would respond.
“Right now I’d probably say, ‘What?’” she said.
Earlier this month, Salley said she was planning on going to a party at the house on Summer House this summer, teasing a cameo on the show’s upcoming 11th season.
