Amy Adams’ daughter just might be enchanted by her mom’s job.

Indeed, the Enchanted actress shared that her and husband Darren Le Gallo’s 16-year-old Aviana Le Gallo could be interested in following in her parents’ footsteps and pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.

“We’ll see what she’s up for,” Adams told People in an interview published July 26. “I know she’s interested in production as a whole, so we’ll see what avenue she decides to focus on.”

In fact, Aviana—who made a cameo in Le Gallo’s 2022 movie Sam & Kate starring Dustin Hoffman and Sissy Spacek—recently vocalized her interest to her mom while on the set of Adams’ upcoming Star Wars movie Starfighter.

“She looked at me and said, ‘Mom, do you think I could find a career in film?’” Adams said on the June 22 episode of the SmartLess podcast. “She's like, ‘Cuz I love travel. I love meeting new people. I like every day being different. And this is really like the best suited job for everything I want my life to look like.’" 

While the six-time Oscar nominee emphasized that her daughter may not be interested in the performing side of the entertainment world, she noted Aviana is still figuring out her niche.

“She's really interested in psychology, which I love,” the Arrival star continued. “She and I are constantly talking about human behavior, which is fun with a 16-year-old. She's very intuitive and insightful. So, we'll see.” 

In the meantime, Adams is looking for ways to help her daughter explore different options, like a class at The Grounding, the famed comedy school in Los Angeles with alumni including Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig.

“She’s really quick-witted and mean and I'm like, ‘Hey, you'll be great in comedy,’” she explained. “She's not a mean person but her wit is so biting and sarcastic. My husband's like, ‘Ow,’ and when she nails me, I laugh so hard.”
