The TV personality has been tapped to host the 50th annual fireworks special from New York City next month, Deadline can reveal exclusively. The telecast will air live on Saturday, July 4 from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and simulcast live on Peacock.

The upcoming special will also feature a string of performances from Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Salt-N-Pepa, Bebe Rexha, Shaboozey and Blake Shelton, the network previously announced.

That is, of course, in addition to the fireworks show expected to light up the New York City skyline with more than 85,000 shells in 30 vibrant colors. The fireworks will be paired with a laser show from the Brooklyn Bridge. In all, the show is expected to span the lower East River in the Seaport District, the lower Hudson River in collaboration with Jersey City and the Brooklyn Bridge, firing from six barges and providing miles of public viewing.

The show’s 27-minute score is produced by Grammy winning composer Jason Howland and will feature a live performance from The Voice Season 29 winner Alexia Jayy. The soundtrack is “inspired by the enduring spirit of America” and “reimagines the iconic sounds of more than 50 years of beloved summer classics,” per NBC.

In addition to NBC and Peacock, the special will also air on Telemundo. The special is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment with Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay executive producing. Marcelo Gama is directing.
