Luke Baines is best known for his work on the beloved series Shadowhunters, but he’s more than just an actor!
The actor and author, 36, just dropped the second installment in his YA romantasy series. Writing as L. J. Baines, Luke has released In Secreta, the follow-up to the best-selling novel In Scientia.
Announcing the release on Instagram, Luke introduced In Secreta with a tongue-in-cheek birth announcement: “Please help me welcome the birth of my second book! 1 lb 1 oz, father and child are mostly healthy despite a long painful labor.”
Luke has received a ton of support from his celebrity friends, with his Shadowhunters castmates Katherine McNamara, Harry Shum Jr., Alberto Rosende and Tessa Mossey among those celebrating in the comments. Claire Holt, Olivia Holt, Aisha Tyler, Nico Greetham and Gio Benitez also joined the celebration.
