A takeover of a channel on SiriusXM and a year-long Fox Nation subscription priced at $17.76 are just two of the ways Fox News Media will recognize the nationâs semiquincentennial.
Starting June 24, Fox News Media will begin delivering coverage of the 250th birthday of the U.S. from various locations around the country on Fox News, Fox Business Network. Fox News Digital and Fox Weather, among other outlets.
Live coverage on Fox News Channel kicks off Wednesday, June 24th and concludes on Sunday, July 5th, with correspondents and anchors stationed at the National Mall, Liberty State Park, Philadelphia, Mount Rushmore and Teddy Rooseveltâs Presidential Library, among others venues. Many of the the networkâs best known shows will broadcast live from the National Mall during the Great American State Fair. Some will originate from Liberty State Park in Jersey City, N.J. A July 3rd special, âAmerica 250: Celebrating Freedom,â will be anchored by Martha MacCallum, Sandra Smith and John Roberts, and will broadcast live during the arrival of the worldâs tallest ships into New York Harbor. On July 4th, Fox News will feature live coverage of the Times Square ball drop at midnight  with correspondent Nate Foy.
The evening of July 4 will feature âAmerica 250: Celebrating Freedomâ in primetime, which will be co-hosted by Bret Baier, Harris Faulkner, Sean Hannity, Brian Kilmeade and Dana Perino.
Fox Business Network anchors Maria Bartiromo and Liz Claman will each host live programs from the New York Stock Exchange, with Bartiromo doing so on July 1, and Claman doing so on July 2. On Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th, FBN will transform into âAmerica 250 Network,â featuring Fox Nation specials hosted by Bret Baier, Dana Perino, Harris Faulkner, Kelsey Grammer and others.
Fox News Digital will deliver live streams, breaking news coverage and immersive storytelling from celebrations nationwide, and will feature dedicated âAmerica 250â landing pages and live blogs.
Fox News Media will take over SiriusXMâs Triumph Channel 123 with a dedicated America 250 pop-up channel, featuring stories of America with voices including Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Quaid, Brian Kilmeade, Tyrus, Ruthless and others, alongside America 250 video vignettes.Â
Fox Weather plans a weeklong celebration featuring on-location shows, live reporting from across the nation, event forecasts and historical vignettes. Fox Weatherâs on-air personnel will celebrate an âAll-American Weekendâ as weather conditions shape holiday festivities and examine forecasts for fireworks displays across the nation.
