Megan Lawless is confirming some exciting news about Obsession.
The 26-year-old actress, who plays Sarah in the hit horror indie from Curry Barker, made an appearance on the Sam Roberts’ Show, where she spoke out about her character’s fate and what to expect from a director’s cut of the film.

“Well, part of you is like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to get killed off.’ But the scene was so epic. [laughter] It was so crazy. I was fine with it. I was like, ‘Hell yeah. I’m going out with a bang,'” she said of her response to seeing her character was going to die in the script.
“The cut that was shown at TIFF was longer. The bashing went on longer, and Curry had me do ADR of gurgling and moaning noises…that was in the original cut,” she revealed.

“The gurgling happened after the face bashing. There’s a shot of my poor face that’s not even my face anymore, and you can hear these little gurgling noises in the background…during ADR, I took a sip of water with Curry and started gurgling.”
“You need to watch the director’s cut when it comes out. Oh, yeah. His director’s cut is going to come out, so don’t worry—you’ll get to see it,” she confirmed.
At the same time, it was just revealed that Obsession crossed the $300 million mark at the box office.
