The 2026 Emmy Awards are taking place tonight!
Mariska Hargitay is set to host the show for the first time, airing live on NBC and Peacock on Monday night (September 14), starting at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.
Ahead of the Primetime Emmys ceremony, the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place a week before, with a two-night event at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, handing out 106 awards in 100 categories.
At the Creative Arts Emmys, the awards given out focused primarily on technical categories, along with unscripted programming, including documentaries, reality and game shows, variety specials, and short-form series on night one.
On night two, more winners were announced from scripted series, including awards for guest acting and additional technical categories like costumes, editing, sound, cinematography and more.
