Shabana Azeez is calling a code blue on some very confident stars.
Indeed, the Pitt actress shared her thoughts on actors who star in medical shows and believe they could actually perform medical or surgical procedures off set.
"All these actors are walking around and being like, 'I could intubate somebody,'" Azeez exclusively told Live From E!: 2026 Emmys' Justin Sylvester on Sept. 14. "No, you couldn't."
She continued, "You would panic! The adrenaline would be coursing through your body, and you would pass out."
Although Azeez knows she couldn't perform any procedure IRL, she's more than confident bringing her medical school character Victoria Javadito to life in the HBO series, which is nominated for 25 awards, including Outstanding Drama Series. (See more stars on the red carpet here.)
"No, no, no, no, no, because that's not real," she said of her onscreen medical work. "I do panic on set about other things, like when are the snacks coming, you know, real problems. But with medical emergencies, I leave that for the doctors."
And the 29-year-oldâwho stepped out in a champagne gold hand-beaded Sophie Couture gown for the 78th annual ceremonyâhad a message for any viewers, too.
"Don't let an actor do any medicine on you," she emphasized. "I can't believe how much I have to say this. Stop letting actors do medicine on you!"
She noted that although fans may want Noah Wyleâwho is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Seriesâto help them while under duress, he, too, is not someone to ask for help.
"That's not about medicine," she quipped. "If you medically needed resuscitation, you would not call for him. You'd only want that when you didn't need it!"
