PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson joined forces onstage for the very first time at All Points East 2026 to perform their ‘Stateside’ remix – check out the footage below.

The Swedish pop singer was playing the London festival last night (August 22), joining the likes of 2hollisOklou, Audrey Hobert, Rose Gray on the bill. Larsson surprised the sold-out Victoria Park crowd by bringing out PinkPantheress during her East Stage set, which saw her tear through tracks like ‘Midnight Sun’, ‘Lush Life’ and more.

The remixed version the pair performed last night comes from PinkPantheress’ star-studded ‘Fancy Some More?’ remix album – the accompaniment to the Mercury-nominated ‘Fancy That’. PinkPantheress’ surprise appearance came during the second day of All Points East 2026, with Larsson performing ahead of headliner Lorde on a predominantly female-led line-up.

The former NME Cover star was already scheduled to perform elsewhere at the festival, with her cameo during Larsson’s set marking one of the day’s biggest pop crossover moments, and it comes after a triumphant summer for Larsson, whose 2015 track ‘Lush Life’ topped the charts after enjoying a huge resurgence on TikTok.

Larsson – who now counts Mick Jagger as a fan – released her fifth studio record last summer, including the singles ‘Pretty Ugly’, ‘Midnight Sun’ and ‘Crush’. Then, back in May, she followed it up with the remix album ‘Midnight Sun: Girls Trip’, which features PinkPantheressShakiraTylaRobynMadison BeerKehlaniBambii and more.

NME gave the record 4.5 stars in a review that read: “Coupled with the undimmed effervescence of the original album, ‘Midnight Sun: Girls Trip’ is a journey worth taking. And for Larsson, the doors to the “Khia asylum” are rapidly fading from sight in the rear-view mirror.

As for PinkPantheress, her song ‘Illegal’ was named NME‘s best song of 2025, where we noted: “Pink has made headlines for standing by her sub-three-minute hits, and with this adrenaline-fuelled thrillride, she’s once again proved that’s all the time she needs. Combining winking storytelling smarts, artful sampling, cheeky culture-defining quips (those opening lines!) and dance floor-filling beats, ‘Illegal’ showed us just how big she could go. A true feat.”

When asked by NME why she thought the track had resonated with so many, she said: “I don’t know if it’s anything too deep, other than having a [TikTok] trend for it helped and also the sample is quite timeless. I think the power of the beat itself is what people really like about it.”
