A 30th wedding anniversary is usually a cause for celebration.

Three years after she and Mauricio Umansky confirmed their separation, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star admitted that the former couple struggled marking what would have been a relationship milestone on Jan. 20.

"I'm just having a moment," an emotional Kyle told Vicki Gunvalson during a preview for the Aug. 16 episode of Bravo's Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. "Today's my 30-year anniversary. It makes me sad."

And the 56-year-old's state of mind went from bad to worse after her estranged husband, with whom she broke up in 2023, reached out.

"He sent me a text and it just sent me off," the mother of four continued in the sneak peek. "He said today's always such a hard day and I love you. He said I don't know how we got here. I thought we were stronger than that. I really had thought that."

In a confessional, Vicki empathized with her fellow Bravolebrity, especially after her painful 2010 divorce from Donn Gunvalson.

"My heart is breaking for Kyle," The Real Housewives of Orange County OG admitted, "because they've got everything everyone is looking for and 30 years of marriage, all of a sudden it's dissolving."

And going through a breakup in the public eye certainly hasn't been easy for Kyle.

"The thing that bothered me the most honestly was people saying that we gave them hope that true love existed," the Halloween Ends actress reflected in her own confessional. "And now, that went out the window for them. But I understand people thinking like that."

But when Kyle mentioned the word "ashamed" in her discussion with Vicki, the Coto Insurance founder unleashed some tough love on Kyle.

"You should be," Vicki fired back, "you let your family down. You let your kids down. You're showing them it's okay to bail out when things get tough. It's not okay."

"For me, you guys were the epitome of staying together forever," the RHOC star continued. "You're supposed to grow old together, you're supposed to do life together."

While Vicki's words seemed harsh at first, she later explained her advice was coming from a good place.

"I wish somebody would have come up to me when I decided to divorce Donn 16 years ago to say, 'Stop,'" she confessed in a confessional. "I was caught in this being on a reality TV show and traveling and nobody told me, 'Shape up, Vicki. This TV life that you're living is temporary.'"

Ultimately, Kyle hopes she doesn't end up as regretful as Vicki was over her divorce.

As she admitted in a confessional, "When I hear Vicki say that the pain still lives within her, it scares me. I want to be past this. I don't want to be Vicki."

See the drama continue when The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. In the meantime, keep reading to look back at Kyle and Mauricio’s life together
