The streak began in 2016 with Dangerous Woman and continued with Sweetener (2018), Thank U, Next (2019), Positions (2020) and Eternal Sunshine (2024). Her first two albums — Yours Truly (2013) and My Everything (2014) — peaked at No. 7 and No. 3, respectively, in the U.K.
The final leg of Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour will commence next Saturday (Aug. 15) with a 10-night stand at London’s The O2; the career-spanning tour kicked off in San Francisco in June.
Earlier this week, a rep confirmed to People that Grande “would be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour.”
The statement continued, “She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny. This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”
She was previously slated to feature in a production of Sunday in the Park With George alongside Wicked costar Jonathan Bailey at London’s Barbican Centre.
Elsewhere on the charts, Michael Jackson’s The Essential collection retains its position at No. 2, while Olivia Rodrigo’s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love also holds its spot at No. 3.
Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving rises one spot to No. 4 after her headline set at Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival Aug. 1. Sienna Spiro, who also performed at the festival, climbs to No. 5 with her debut album, The Visitor. Following a run of U.K. shows, Katy Perry’s hits compilation, The Ones That Got the Plays, reaches a new peak at No. 8.
Following news that he had set a new Guinness World Record as the first solo country act to headline Wembley Stadium, Luke Combs’ The Way I Am rises to No. 15. The album initially peaked at No. 4 in March this year.
