Disney+ has struck its first partnership with Indonesian streamer Vidio.

The two are launching a joint subscription that packages Disney+ Standard with Vidio Ultimate All Screen and puts Marvel, “Star Wars” and Korean series in the same plan as Premier League and UEFA Champions League soccer.

On the Disney+ side, the package includes 20th Century Studios’ “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” and Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine.” It also carries FX series “Shōgun” and “The Bear,” and shows such as “Moving” and “A Shop for Killers.” Titles still to come include “The Remarried Empress” and “Merry Berry Love.”

Separately, every Vidio user with an active subscription will be able to sample Disney+ through a “Taste of Disney+” collection on the Indonesian platform. It offers individual episodes of the Korean original “Flex X Cop” Season 2, the U.S. crime comedy-drama “High Potential,” the animated series “Sofia the First” and the medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy.” The lineup will change from time to time and is meant to steer viewers toward the full bundle.

The Vidio tie-up is the latest in a run of regional partnerships for Disney+. In Korea, the service joined TVING and Wavve in a three-way subscription bundle in 2025, shortly after a dedicated TVING Collection launched on Disney+ Japan. It is also carrying SPOTV’s MLB coverage in Korea this season. In Malaysia, Astro expanded its Disney+ distribution deal in July and agreed to supply local titles such as “Ola Bola” and “Polis Evo” to the streamer. In Japan, where Disney+ has been bundled with Hulu Japan since 2023, TBS’s international studio The Seven signed a multi-year pact in April to co-develop live-action dramas for the service.

According to Media Partners Asia, Vidio has been Indonesia’s top streaming platform for four straight years. The companies are aiming the bundle at households. They point to Vidio’s own t-Survey 2025, which found that 77% of the platform’s connected TV audience watches together in groups of at least three family members.

Vidio CEO Sutanto Hartono said the partnership merges two entertainment offerings that complement each other into one of the country’s fullest premium packages. “As entertainment consumption continues to evolve, audiences are looking for greater choice and better value from their subscriptions. Alongside the bundle, the ‘Taste of Disney+’ collection will bring select Disney stories directly to audiences on Vidio, complementing our Indonesian originals and sports offering,” he said.

Vidio’s original slate now tops 110 series, and the platform carries more than 70 global and national sports competitions, among them Wimbledon, Formula 1 and MotoGP.
