The Scottish singer-songwriter is topping the bill at the London concert series this weekend, taking to the stage on both Saturday July 11 and Sunday July 12.
The massive outdoor gigs will form part of his UK and Ireland headline tour this summer, and you can find any remaining tickets here.
Now, just days before the gigs kick off, Capaldi has revealed that night one of the sold-out shows will be broadcast live worldwide exclusively on YouTube.
The gig will mark his biggest headline date yet, and the livestream will be completely free to audiences globally via YouTube, with no paywall.
There will be a 26-camera setup to capture the set as well as drone cinematography. It also marks one of the new occasions where a Hyde Park concert has been broadcast live globally, following on from Live 8 in 2005 and Paul McCartneyâs performance in 2010.
âBST Hyde Park has welcomed some of the world’s biggest artists over the years, so we’re incredibly excited that Lewis Capaldi will make history as the first artist to livestream their full performance from the festival,â said Jim King of AEG Presents.
âIt’s a landmark moment for BST and a fantastic opportunity for millions of fans to be part of the experience, wherever they are in the world.â
Ahead of the livestream, there will be a 10-minute short film specially created for the event by creative director Rory Dewar. Afterwards the show will be available to watch on YouTube.
The âStay Loveâ artist headlined Leedsâ new Roundhay Festival on Saturday July 4, which was launched by the team behind BST Hyde Park â tickets are available here. Back in February, it was announced that Jacob Alon and Conan Gray would be joining Capaldi at both dates.
The July 11 slot at BST will see him joined by The Vaccines, Absolutely, Nieve Ella, Tyler Ballgame, Kerr Mercer, NECKBREAKERS, Benjamin Steer, Luz, Sebastian Croft and Luke La Volpe.
Capaldi returned in November last year with an EP, âSurviveâ, marking his first new music since his 2023 album âBroken By Desire to Be Heavenly Sentâ.
