Cameras for The Valley have picked up following recent events unfolding in the friend group, Deadline has learned.
Sources close to production tell us that filming for The Valley Season 3 has resumed to capture Brittany Cartwright‘s reaction to her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, making headlines.
Taylor, who exited the series after Season 2, made headlines this week after TMZ posted photos of him and his publicist getting cozy in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Onlookers told the publication that Taylor and his publicist “were getting close and hugging throughout the day and weren’t trying to hide they were together.”
Making matters messier was the fact that Taylor and Cartwright had the same publicist. TMZ further reported that Cartwright has since dropped her publicist following the photos.
The Valley Season 3 had already wrapped filming, including the reunion special, which happened on June 18. A scene with Cartwright reacting to the news and the fallout of it all could potentially be inserted in the finale, where they typically share updates on the cast’s lives since filming ended.
Taylor was one of the original cast members of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff chronicling his life with Cartwright. The couple ended up separating and filing for divorce in the subsequent months. Taylor exited the series to focus on his sobriety.
Picking up cameras after a show has already wrapped has become a recurring event at Bravo as the reality TV personalities featured on the network continue living their lives. Earlier this year, Summer House had to do some extra filming after co-stars Amanda Batula and Westling Wilson confirmed they were in a relationship despite weeks of denying the rumors. The scandal also seeped into the spinoff In the City, which filmed last fall, but most of Batula’s storyline clashed with what viewers knew in the present time. New scenes were inserted into the show to help viewers bridge the two timelines.
