In a carousel of photos posted Tuesday (June 23), the singer-actress poses in an aptly red-and-blue dress at a Spider-Man: Brand New Day photocall in Italy. The last slide shows Holland kissing his costar-turned-wife on the forehead as she smiles at the camera.
“Just jumping on to say hi from our stop in Rome,” Zendaya wrote, adding a heart emoji.
The loved-up snap marks the first photo she’s shared of Holland since he revealed in an interview with Esquire published June 16 that he and the Euphoria star were already husband and wife. After noting that his close family hadn’t been fooled by some viral AI-generated photos of his and Zendaya’s supposed wedding — “because they were all there,” he said — the actor added, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
He did, however, praise his multi-hyphenate spouse to the publication. “It’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he said at the time. “I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever.”
Zendaya — who has so far charted six songs on the Billboard Hot 100 — and Holland first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. They’ve kept the details and timeline of their relationship private, but they appear to have gotten engaged around January 2025.
Now, their latest Spider-Man film — which hits theaters July 31 — comes at a full-circle moment as the leading man and lady are married off screen. Fans had wondered for a while whether Zendaya and Holland had tied the knot privately before the Devil All the Time star confirmed it, especially after the Shake It Up alum’s longtime friend and stylist, Law Roach, teased in a March interview with Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already happened! You missed it.”
