There’s a new report about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding that seems to corroborate some very old reporting about the couple’s nuptials.
After they got engaged, there were some unconfirmed reports that Taylor and Travis booked the venue Ocean House in Westerly, Rhode Island for June 13. Taylor famously has a beach home in the area.
TMZ is suggesting that those reports were actually true, and a “fireworks show was planned as part of the reception.” However, they’re stating that in May, the fireworks company “got word the event was canceled and had been moved to New York.”
So, why did Taylor and Travis move their wedding to NYC?
The site reports that “the couple bailed after word got out about the venue.” There were so many headlines and so much speculation about the June 13 date that the Rhode Island venue actually put out a statement at one point.
Latest reporting suggests that they will be saying “I do” in the New York City area – rumored to take place at Madison Square Garden – around the July 4 weekend.
