The Zac Brown Band frontman announced at the group’s Aug. 2 concert in Boston, Mass., that he would be gifting all 37,000 audience members in attendance a free vacation aboard the Margaritaville at Sea cruise ship.

“Tonight we’re going to do something that even Jimmy [Buffet] would say is crazy,” Brown said onstage in a video shared to the band and Margaritaville’s official Instagram accounts Aug. 3. “I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat. This is the biggest giveaway in history ladies and gentlemen, right here tonight at Fenway Park!”

The giveaway—valued at more than $40 million, per NBC Boston—comes as the band celebrated its 15th consecutive sold out show at the iconic stadium, making them the first to do so, according to the outlet. 

The milestone performance also made them record holders in garnering the most tickets sold in the venue’s history. So, naturally, Brown wanted to give back in an unforgettable way. 

“Boston we love you!” the band captioned the post. “Thank you for making our 15th sell out show at Fenway Park one to remember with the biggest giveaway in history!"

They added, “Thank you to our friends at @margaritavilleatsea for making this possible.”

And the global lifestyle brand is just as thrilled to be working with the country music star. 

“We were honored to work alongside Zac to help bring this incredible surprise to life for his fans,” Margaritaville at Sea CEO Christopher Ivy said in a statement. “This was an extraordinary way to thank the fans who have supported him throughout his career, and we're proud to have helped make that incredible vision a once-in-a-lifetime reality.”

The gift can be redeemed on "select Margaritaville at Sea sailings over the next year," according to the company.

Margaritaville is the presenting sponsor of Zac Brown Band’s 27-date Love & Fear Tour, which kicked off in July and runs through November. And the giveaways won’t stop there.

After all, the band will continue to give away four cruise vacations per show, with those fans gifted some R&R aboard the new Beachcomber, which will debut in January 2027.

And even before the tour kicked off in Grand Rapids, Michigan, July 17, Brown—who married Kendra Scott in May—knew it’d be special. 

“We’ve got some new stuff as well because we always want to have a different show whenever we come out,” Brown teased of the tour in an interview with USA TODAY published July 16. “And we gain the intimacy of being close to the fans. I wanted to show our dedication to them and give them something unique.”
