While confirming his marriage to his Spider-Man: Brand New Day costar, the 30-year-old also gave rare insight into the couple's romance

“Our business can present very stressful situations," Holland told Esquire in an interview published June 16, "and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time."

"We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life," the Uncharted actor continued. "I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."

In fact, Holland considers Zendaya, 29, to be "my person."

"She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her," he raved. "I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."

However, Holland was less than open about the details of his wedding. After confirming that his close family and friends were "all there" for the nuptials, he noted to the interviewer, "That’s all you’ll get on that."

It's a sentiment shared by Zendaya, who is also notoriously private about her love life.

“For me, there is this level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship,” the Euphoria star told New York Times’ Modern Love podcast in April. “I do know that I’m a public person—and so is he. I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other."

So while she and Holland aren't trying to “hide from the world,” Zendaya prefers to have "little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about."

As she put it, “I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well.”
