Gal Gadot got seriously injured during the filming of her upcoming Prime Video movie The Runner.
The 41-year-old Wonder Woman star revealed that she broke her feet during production and completed the movie using crutches during a new interview with People published on Friday (August 28).

“I finished the film on crutches,” Gal shared. “There was only so much [I could do]. At one point I broke my feet and that was it. And afterwards I needed to recover and all of that.”
She continued, “And of course, we picked up whatever we couldn’t finish because I had broken feet, but I need to get back at it. I feel like we exhausted the idea of running for me after running for so many months like this.”
In the movie, her character spends a significant amount of time running through London, making the role especially physically demanding. She even trained with an Olympic trainer to improve her running technique and help her learn the “skill as second nature” and not overthink it.

She has since made a full recovery
Gal has since recovered and says she is back to normal after taking break for several months from intensive running. By the time she was done with the crutches, she joked they were “a nice accessory” but not one she wanted to keep forever.
Her new movie The Runner follows a powerful London attorney named Maia Marten, played by Gal, who must act fast to save her son after he is kidnapped during her morning run.
