The Last House is getting a ton of buzz at the moment.
The Netflix movie hails from director Louis Leterrier, and stars Greta Lee and Wagner Moura.
In the film, a family of four are suddenly sealed inside their home with no way out, and must work together to survive against both their dwindling resources and the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.
Riley Chung, Emma Ho, Noah Alexander Sosnowski, and Gabriel Barbos all appear in the movie as well.
Now, one of the leads of the movie is speaking out about a potential sequel to the film.

Wagner Moura gave an interview to ScreenRant about the movie, and discussed his character’s decision at the end of the film, sparing the life of the mystery creature rather than killing it, and why that was the right decision.
He also said that the choice was made because of his character’s daughter Ruth, who he doesn’t take seriously until the very end.
His daughter is always telling him something, and he doesn’t listen to her. The entire film, she’s saying something, and he responds just with this sort of arrogance that adults have towards their children. And I was like, “Man, we really have to listen to everybody, but especially to our kids.” What she said since the beginning was right. She was right. And the decision, therefore, I think the decision was, of course, first of all, he’s not killing anyone. And secondly, he listened to her.
At the end of the movie, the family is traveling by boat and sends a distress call over the radio. They hear a person respond and say “hello,” confirming that others have also survived, which leaves the opportunity for a sequel wide open. But will there be a The Last House 2?
In the interview, Wagner said that he isn’t sure if there will be a sequel to the movie, but “he is hopeful and willing to reprise his role if the opportunity arises,” ScreenRant reports.
