Amber Riley returned to Dancing with the Stars tonight (October 6)!
The 40-year-old entertainer, who won the mirrorball trophy in season 17, came back to perform during the show.
Amber hit the stage to sing “It’s Like That” during “Mariah Carey Night,” while her former Glee co-star Harry Shum Jr performed the Tango with his dance partner, Jenna Johnson!
Earlier in the day, Amber teased that fans should tune in to DWTS because “you might see a past mirrorball champion and hear a familiar singing voice.”
Amber has been cheering Harry on since it was announced he would be on DWTS this year.
“Ya’ll know I’m competitive. We don’t lose ????? Consider this a @harryshumjr fan page from now on!!! I will be sat EVERY WEEK, and WE (yes that means YOU TOO), will be voting every week! Congratulations Shum and let’s go Jenna!!!!!! Am I allowed to bring signs to the ballroom ?? #DWTS @dancingwiththestars,” she shared on Instagram in early September.
In fact, Amber and her mom were in the audience to cheer Harry on in person last week during “Yacht Rock Night.” They were seated with fellow Glee co-star Chris Colfer and his longtime partner Will Sherrod, and Harry‘s Grey’s Anatomy co-stars Adelaide Kane and Alexis Floyd. Amber won the mirrorball in season 17 back in 2013 with her pro partner Derek Hough.
After she performed this week, Derek, who is now a judge, praised his champion, Amber, before giving his critiques to Harry‘s performance.
