The 61-year-old paid tribute to her late dad John Wilson Bullock on Father’s Day, sharing sweet snaps of him embracing her, snuggling with his grandkids Louis, 16, and Laila, 12, and serving in the military as a teenager. 

“He loved me through my goth period…” the Practical Magic actress shared to Instagram on June 21. “Loved on the loves of my life… And loved our country at 18… Happy Heavenly Father’s Day, Dad.”

After John died in 2018 at the age of 93, Sandra shared what she learned after his passing. 

“Life, I realize, happens whether you schedule it or not,” she told The Ellen DeGeneres Show at the time. “That just blew my mind this year.”

And understanding that unpredictability, the Ocean’s 8 star knows that every moment with her family counts. In fact, she recently discussed how she balances motherhood with her career, explaining that the upcoming Practical Magic 2 was made possible because her kids were “out of school” at the time of production. 

"I’m not going to sacrifice my time with my kids,” Sandra said during an April 16 panel at CNBC’s Changemakers Summit. “They’d be happy if I was gone, I would not.”

She further explained, “I do not do my best work if my children are struggling or if they need something and I can’t facilitate it. I’m raising my children, not anybody else.”

Indeed, the Miss Congeniality alum has largely been focused on her family in recent years. Following the death of her longtime partner Bryan Randall in 2023, she has largely kept out of the spotlight, although she had previously shared how important he was in her kids’ lives before his death.

"He's the example I would want my children to have," she told the Red Table Talk in December 2021. "I don't always agree with him and he doesn't always agree with me, but he is an example even when I don't agree with him."

“Happy Father’s Day @joaquimvalente!” the supermodel captioned a June 21 Instagram post featuring family photos with Valente. “Thank you for leading by example, and for the values you embody, love, humility, integrity, discipline, kindness and consistency.”

The Dancing With the Stars judge—who welcomed 5-month-old daughter Everley with wife Hayley Erbert in December—marked his first Father's Day with his little one by his side. 

"My first Father’s Day—and definitely the most meaningful one yet," he wrote in a June 21 Instagram post alongside pics with his daughter. "Becoming a dad has changed the way I see everything. The little moments, the quiet moments, the unexpected moments… they end up meaning the most. Grateful for every memory we’re creating together."

Jessica Biel honored her husband—with whom she shares Silas, 11, and Phineas, 5—on his special day.

Meanwhile, Timberlake reflected on his fatherhood journey in his own post, writing, "Every year this day rolls around and reminds me how lucky I am to be a father, watching my sons grow into who they are is life’s greatest gift."
