AURORA is celebrating 10 years of her debut album ‘All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend’ by releasing the previously unreleased title track and some alternate version of songs she has dubbed the ‘Moth Tapes’.

Set for release on September 25, the new reissue comes with a unique moth-inspired vinyl pressing, and celebrates a decade since the original album was first released and first catapulted the Norwegian songwriter to fame. Visit here to pre-order.
Built around intimate early recordings, demos and previously unheard material from the original era, ‘The Moth Tapes’ offers a new perspective on the album, and also comes with previously unreleased title track.
“I am growing tired and I am growing old/ the road I walk I walk alone/and I wonder and I think I might take a look, take a look on the other side,” she sings in her signature, ethereal style on the song, as a thumping drum beat grows behind her.
“Just one look/ oh my demons greeting me as a friend/ I’m home waiting for time to let go/ peace in my body and soul,” she sings in the euphoric chorus. Check it out below, along with the full ‘Moth Tape’ tracklist.
The 10th anniversary reissue of the debut album features demos of ‘The Silent Twins’, ‘Running With The Wolves’ and ‘Let Me Heal You’.
It also comes with a 2013 demo of the now hit song ‘Runaway’, following the song having a viral breakthrough in 2021 and now experiencing a new wave of interest in 2026 – with over three billion combined streams to date and charting on Shazam across Nigeria, Vietnam, the Philippines, Norway, Indonesia and Thailand.
“It’s been over 10 years since I wrote these songs, many stories have been long lost and now some of them will find their way into your hearts,” AURORA said of ‘The Moth Tapes’.
“It feels vulnerable to release something unrefined, but I know sometimes that is what people need the most. I hope these songs create and bring back some good memories for you all.”

The release follows AURORA releasing her third book at the start of the year, which also celebrated the 10th anniversary of the debut album with pages from her early notebooks and sketches, specially written commentary, and more for fans to see for the first time.
It also arrived with exclusive photography, and behind-the-scenes content from early concerts and music shoots, and collections of lyrics.
As for new music, AURORA’s latest solo album ‘What Happened To The Heart?’ dropped in 2024 and was praised by NME as showing her “leading by example with a dazzling world of her own”.
Since then, the singer has joined forces with The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands to form a new band, TOMORA. This year they released their debut album ‘Come Closer‘ – which featured the single ‘Somewhere Else’ that gained momentum during the 2026 World Cup.
That debut album was given a four-star review from NME and celebrated as “exceptional, beautiful and shit tonnes of fun”, and the duo are now set to kick off their UK and European headline tour in October.
