Salma Hayek is feeling some kind of beautiful as she enters her next chapter.
But in honor of her 60th year of life, the Grown Ups star donned her birthday suit—literally—and leaned into the whimsy of youth with a little skinny dipping.
In the sultry snaps, a naked Hayek lies in shallow water, coyly biting a finger on the hands holding up her head while a second shows the Frida actress’ back as she enjoys the water.
She captioned the Sept. 7 snap, “60 and grateful.”
Over the years, she has been candid about how much better aging has been than she could have imagined, saying in 2023 that “everything” about getting older has surprised her.
“I thought getting older meant I wasn’t going to work; I’m working,” Hayek—who has been married to François-Henri Pinault since 2009—told Glamour at the time. “I thought getting older maybe meant that you’re not in love anymore; I’m in love.”
She added, “I don’t feel that I lost my flexibility or my agility or even my strength. I do have to say that I have found it beautiful, getting older with someone.”
And mores years around the sun mean more milestones for the entire family, which includes her and Pinault’s daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault and his three kids François Pinault Jr., Mathilde Pinault and Augustina James Evangelista.
In fact, she and Pinault recently became grandparents for the first time, as François Jr. and his wife Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck welcomed a baby boy in July.
"We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois," Hayek captioned an adorable Aug. 16 video of her speaking with her grandson in Spanish. "Although I will call him Panchito. He seems to love it."
Indeed, the sweet nickname—meaning "little Frank," stemming from the Latin name Pancho, a traditional nickname referring to someone named Francisco—earned giggles from the baby.
As Hayek rings in 60 with her loved ones, read on for a look back at her decades in the spotlight.
