Legendary actor Glenn Close is set to be immortalized outside will the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood with a hand and footprint ceremony.
The ceremony will take place on May 1 as part of the 2026 TCM Classic Film Festival, which will take place from April 30 to May 3.Â
Last year, Close starred in Rian Johnsonâs âWake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.â Later this year, she will appear in âThe Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reapingâ as Drusilla Sickle. Speaking about her role, Close teased, âItâs huge. Thereâs all these extras and helicopters and chariots and horses.â
She recently joined the Ryan Murphy-verse, playing a wily divorce attorney in the campy Hulu drama âAllâs Fair.â âI was intimidated,â she admits. âIâd never been in a Ryan movie or show. ⌠I didnât understand the tone for a while. I found it hard.â
Close will present a special screening of âDangerous Liasonsâ as part of the festival.

Close joins Jodie Foster, Michelle Pfeiffer, George Clooney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Diane Keaton and more, all of whom are immortalized outside Hollywoodâs famous courtyard.
