Kate Hudson and Javier Bardem have begun production on their new movie!

The two stars walked around New York City as they filmed scenes for the upcoming rom-com Hello & Paris on Tuesday afternoon (June 23).

For their time on set, Kate, 47, wore a floral-print dress with a pink shawl wrapped around her while Javier, 57, sported a cream-colored jacket over a white button-down shirt paired with navy pants and brown loafers.

What is Hello & Paris about?

Here’s the synopsis: “After a prickly first encounter in Paris, a fiercely independent landscape architect and a crisis-ridden bestselling novelist begin a sparky, transatlantic exchange over books and recipes — only to discover that the one thing harder than being alone might be choosing not to be,” according to Variety.

The movie is written and directed by Elizabeth Chomko.

Hello & Paris is loosely inspired by Deborah McKinlay’s New York Times Book Review editors’ choice novel That Part Was True.

Last week, it was announced that Kate will be starring alongside Ana de Armas in the new erotic thriller movie Palm Grove! Find out more about the project here.
