EXCLUSIVE: Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Daniel Stisen (Last Man Down) have joined Cuba Gooding Jr. (Jerry Maguire) in Angels In Darkness, the neo-noir fantasy thriller directed by Ali Zamani.
The feature is produced by Zeus Zamani and April Kelley, with Uncorked Entertainment distributing.
The ensemble cast already attached includes James Oliver Wheatley (The Lost Pirate Kingdom), Robert Goodman (The Last Kingdom), Agathe Levi (The Serpent Queen), and Sam Nejad (My Eyes Only).
Angels In Darkness follows a troubled private investigator who uncovers a secret cult’s plan to unleash an ancient force, as the boundary between worlds begins to collapse. Zamani and Gooding Jr. previously worked together on Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace.
“We’re building a world that fuses grounded noir with supernatural stakes,” said Zamani. “Ron and Daniel each bring a presence that elevates the film in a major way.”
