Drake is reminding everyone that his fascination with goth women isn’t something new. Drizzy posted a photo from his days as Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi in the 2000s to his Instagram Story on Wednesday (Aug. 12).

Everything We Learned From Drake’s 9th Anniversary Stake Livestream

“This s–t not new,” Drake wrote alongside a laughing emoji. The picture shows him back at Degrassi Community School, hanging out with Ashley Kerwin, who became a goth character on the show.

During a 2025 appearance on Bobbi Althoff’s podcast, Drake revealed his destiny to end up with a “goth baddie with absolute O-cups.”

A year later, while participating in a 20-vs-1 speed-dating game as part of Stake’s 9th anniversary stream on Aug. 8, Drizzy crowned “goth baddie” Pinkchyu as the winner and his “wife.”

However, the most viral clip from the entire livestream came when Pink had Drizzy bark like a dog on command, which sent the internet into a frenzy.

Following her win, Pink cashed in her winning ticket with Drake and asked the 6 God to purchase her mother a new house, which he agreed to do. Pink, who’s a streamer named Lin Lamar, posted footage of her mom in shock after telling her Drake was going to buy her a home.

“The first thing that came to mind was everything you’ve done for me and my sisters, and he’s gonna buy you a house,” Pink said, which left her mother in shock, sitting on the couch.

Pink added in the caption: “I’m so grateful for everything that has happened that past few days. Thank you so much Drake and thank you to all the wonderfully kind I’ve met.”

Drizzy released his first album in three years when he returned in May with a trio of projects. The 6 God made history when ICEMANHABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR took the top three spots of the Billboard 200.
