The owner of the San Francisco 49ers, Jed York, was “arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution.”

However, “prosecutors amended the original engaging-in-prostitution count to misdemeanor disorderly conduct,” TMZ reports.

The site further reports that he entered a no contest plea to another misdemeanor, possessing criminal tools.

He will have to pay $1,150 in fines and serve one day in jail for every count.

The arrest happened on Sunday (August 23) in East Palestine, Ohio. He was then booked into Columbiana County Jail.

He became the CEO of the storied NFL team back in 2008.

He is married to a woman named Danielle Belluomini and they have two children together.

So far, he has made no official statement on this, and we are waiting to hear from the team as well. Stay tuned for any updates.
