Real Housewives of Atlanta is heading into its 18th season, and Bravo boss Andy Cohen is opening up about production.
The 58-year-old Watch What Happens Live host spoke out on Monday (August 3) regarding casting rumors for Season 18 during SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

“The Atlanta reunion tease dropped last Friday and I gotta tell you, I told you guys how much fun I had, and now you can see from the tease what I was talking about,” he began.
What Rumors Did Andy Cohen Shut Down?
“I mean, it is just a great show and a lot of fun, and I read all these…there are a lot of casting rumors online, which came out over the weekend, and I’m gonna tell you that they’re not true,” he said, likely referring to various social media rumors that Shamea Morton Mwangi had been fired. There were also rumors Kelli Ferrell was being demoted to a “friend-of,” and ongoing rumors of NeNe Leakes returning to the show.
Andy Cohen Hints the Current Cast Is Returning for Season 18
“I am going to tell you that if you want a preview of next season of Atlanta, look at this cast. This is the group, guys. I mean, we love this group, so spoiler alert, we’re very happy, and as you can see from the reunion, I was very happy as the day went on,” Andy went on to confirm, suggesting that there will be no changes to the cast in the upcoming season.

The Season 17 cast includes Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Angela Oakley, and Kelli Ferrell, along with newcomers Pinky Cole and K. Michelle. The women are joined by friend Cynthia Bailey.
