Violet Grohl has expanded her upcoming UK tour due to “overwhelming demand” – check out the full list of dates and ticket details below.

The Los Angeles-based musician, and daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, released her debut solo album ‘Be Sweet To Me’ in May via Auroura Records / Republic Records.

Back in April, she announced a string of headline US, UK and European tour dates, later adding a second London show due to high demand. Now, she has confirmed a venue upgrade for her Manchester date, and a new show in Brighton.

Her show at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on August 25 has now been moved to Band On The Wall, while she will play Chalk in Brighton on October 8. Find tickets for the shows here.

The updated run will also include two sold-out nights at London’s Barfly Camden on September 1 and 2, as well as shows in Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol and Dublin. She is also set to play Reading & Leeds, Electric Picnic, Pukkelpop and Lowlands this summer.

Earlier this year, Grohl also spoke about being a young woman in rock, saying: “I don’t like male musicians my age – I don’t care. They have attitude problems. They’ve been saying this about us for so fucking long – it’s time that they sit down, be quiet and play their music.”

“The best advice I’ve been given is that it’s OK to say no or that you don’t want to do something,” she continued. “For a lot of women, it took them a really long time to accept and implement that into their lives. It’s inspiring to be around the kinds of people who don’t give a fuck and will say whatever they feel.”

Meanwhile, her father Dave Grohl revealed several months ago that he had “no idea” Violet had signed a record deal until she told him over dinner.

“I’m totally uninvolved,” he said. “I’m like the dad that wants to be there and know everything and she’s just totally doing her own thing. It’s amazing.”
