Jannik Sinner is once again a Wimbledon champion!

The 24-year-old Italian rallied after dropping the opening set to defeat Alexander Zverev in the 2026 Wimbledon men’s singles final on Sunday (July 12) at the All England Club in London.

After losing a tightly contested first-set tiebreak, Jannik responded by taking another tense breaker in the second set before pulling away to claim the next two sets, securing a 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory and successfully defending his Wimbledon crown.

The victory marks Jannik’s fifth Grand Slam singles title and his second consecutive Wimbledon championship. The World No. 1 showed his trademark resilience throughout the match, turning the momentum around after falling behind early and raising his level as the match wore on.

Alexander was appearing in his first Wimbledon final and pushed the defending champion with a strong opening set, but Jannik found another gear after leveling the match with the second-set tiebreak.

Congratulations to Jannik on another Wimbledon title!
