Jordan Chiles is still flipping out over her impact on the next generation.

The Olympic gold medalist revealed that Beyoncé recently told her that her and Jay-Z’s daughter Rumi sees Chiles as a major role model, and that she may have even inspired the 9-year-old to pursue her own career in gymnastics.

“She told me, ‘She does nonstop flips and does all this and is always talking about you,’ and I’m like that’s so crazy,” Chiles recalled of her conversation with Beyoncé—also mom to Blue Ivy, 14, and Sir, 9, with Jay-Z—in an exclusive interview with E! News at the 2026 BET Awards June 28. “So, I think it’s just the impact that I get to give to people like Beyoncé’s children.”

Indeed, gold medals have nothing on a little praise from Queen Bey. As Chiles put it, “I mean, I think it’s just cool that Beyoncé even knows who I am and I’m just like, ‘Oh, my gosh.”

And though Chiles is no doubt a positive role model for women everywhere, even she needs some winning advice from time to time. While she revealed the “Love on Top” hitmaker has offered her some guidance—though she kept the specifics private—she’s also been turning to pal Normani for wise counsel.

“Me and Normani have recently been hanging out together and we bounce off each other,” Chiles said. “I give her like, ‘Hey, this is what we gotta do.’ She’s like, ‘Hey, this is what we gotta do.’ We go off of each other so I think just having a big sister like her has really meant everything to me.”

And using her platform to be a big sis to little girls around the world is equally important.

“That was my biggest thing when I was little,” the 25-year-old explained. “Like, ‘Hopefully one day I’ll be able to impact the next generation and that they get to understand that anything is possible.’”

“You put your mind to it, go out there and have fun with it,” she added. “Being very impactful in this moment, in this time, it just means everything. I hope that every little girl gets to look and be like, ‘Oh, my gosh she was able to win an award and that she was able to go out there and be who she is.’”
