Meagan Good and Ludacris are among the Oscar, Emmy and Tony nominee's first guests.

Award-winning actor and producer Danielle Brooks is launching the new video podcast, “The InnerMission.”

The Grammy winner and Oscar, Emmy and Tony-nominated actor will interview guests in her home movie theatre, with the aim to “pause and dive deeper into the beautiful, messy and necessary in-between moments when life forces the curtains closed.”

“Investing in yourself is everything. I’ve always known that my passions and skill sets reach far beyond performing, and launching this podcast is my way of honoring those deeper desires,” Brooks tells Variety. “It’s a reminder that you are the author of your own life story — if there’s something you want to do, go after it. I have so much to share and even more to learn, and I want my listeners to grow right alongside me.”

“Harlem” and “Reasonable Doubt” star Megan Good and Grammy winner Ludacris will be among Brooks’ first guests on the show.

“My hope is that these conversations give people the grace to have a little more patience with their own timing,” Brooks adds. “We’re all so focused on hitting the next milestone, but there is so much beauty to take in along the way. Life is guaranteed to throw us wild, unpredictable turns, but through the raw and honest stories my guests bring to the table, I hope you leave each episode feeling deeply inspired.”

“The InnerMission” debuts on Tuesday, June 30, on YouTube, Spotify, Apple and other podcast platforms. Brooks is producing the podcast series via her MahoganyBee Productions. The creative team also includes SadeKay Productions and Camille Dobbins-Jackson.

Brooks is best known for her Oscar and Tony-nominated performances in the feature film and Broadway versions of “The Color Purple,” respectively. She also won a Grammy for best musical theater album. In television, she earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Mahalia Jackson in “Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia” and won the Screen Actors Guild’s Actors Award as part of the ensemble cast of “Orange is the New Black.”

She next stars in the indie feature “If I Go, Will They Miss Me?,” which premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, and the Netflix action-comedy “Bad Day” with Cameron Diaz. She is also returning opposite Jack Black and Jason Momoa for “A Minecraft Movie Squared,” the sequel to the blockbuster live-action adventure, “A Minecraft Movie,” which ultimately grossed $960 million worldwide for Warner Bros. and Legendary. Brooks is set to star and executive produce the comedy series “American Comfort,” inspired by the life story of restaurateur Melba Wilson. The project is in development with Apple TV, Kenya Barris, Oprah Winfrey and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment.
