Sid Wilson is reportedly no longer with Slipknot.
According to TMZ, the DJ and keyboardist was notified on late Friday afternoon (July 31) that he was being permanently kicked out of the band. No further details about his status have emerged at this time.
Neither Slipknot nor Sid have released any kind of official statement confirming the news at the time of writing this article.
Sid was one of the nine original members of Slipknot. He’d been with the band since 1999 and is among the latest of the original members to leave following Chris Frehn and Craig Jones. Sadly, Joey Jordison passed away in 2021 and Paul Gray died in 2010.
The remaining OG members include Shawn “Clown” Crahan, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, and Jim Root. Alessandro Venturella, Michael Pfaff, and Eloy Casagrande are also still with the band after joining in 2015, 2022, and 2024, respectively.
Sid‘s alleged exit from the band comes months after his split from Kelly Osbourne. The couple ended their engagement in March 2026, just eight months after they got engaged.
If you didn’t know, the musician popped the question backstage at Ozzy Osbourne‘s final Black Sabbath concert in July 2025. The couple also share a three-year-old child named Sidney.
