Frozen fans have plenty to look forward to with the upcoming third film in the franchise!
Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad reunited during the Friday night (August 14) Entertainment Showcase as the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event convention held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
During the Frozen 3 segment, we got to see our first look at a scary new villainess, Olaf’s first crush, and two new songs.
Idina, Kristen, and Josh took to the stage for the night’s grand finale to close out D23 with two special performances.

What was revealed about Frozen 3?
One of the biggest surprsies of the night happened at the end, when the trio shares an all-new animation of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven.
The video shared included a look at the movie’s menacing new villain with powers that appear to rival Elsa’s, plus it confirms Kristoff and Anna’s wedding. Olaf catches the bouquet at the wedding and we get a tease of his first crush.
Just Jared previously reported on the wedding, as it was teased by the directors in March 2026.
While giving a tour of the new World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris’ Disney Adventure World in a Disney+ Insider special on the streamer earlier this year, co-directors Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy teased an upcoming wedding.
As they met Anna and Elsa inside their meet and greet location at the just opened land, Jennifer says, “We hear there are big wedding plans happening.”
The girl portraying the queen replied, “Oh, yes! I’m so excited.”
Trent then asks if she’s doing all the wedding planning, to which Anna says, “Olaf said he likes to be in charge of all the party planning in Arendelle, and he told us that him and Kristoff had been planning a really big surprise for the Snowflower Festival.”

Additionally, a previous plot tease shared that the royal wedding might be welcoming a “mysterious new member.” Fans are already theorizing that the villainess could be related to Elsa and Anna.

What are the new Frozen 3 songs?
Idina and Kristen, who voice Elsa and Anna, respectively, sang a new version of the song “Frozen Heart” and Josh sang a love song for Olaf’s first crush, “Ooooh, Samantha.”
The songs were written by Oscar-winning composer duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
Frozen 3 will hit theaters on November 24, 2027.
