Eileen Davidson is recovering from an accident and surgery.
The Young and the Restless star provided an update to her Instagram on Friday (September 18), revealing she fractured her patella in a cold plunge accident and had to get knee surgery. She uploaded two photos of her swollen knee, one of which is in a brace.
“I sure won’t be making those moves anytime soon! Slipped getting out of a cold plunge and fractured my patella. I’m gonna be down for the count for quite a few weeks recovering from surgery. Thanks to the EMTs and the great team at @losrobleshospital,” she captioned the post.
Eileen, 67, poked a little fun at herself as she showed a photo from her time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and wrote, “how it started” at the top, followed by “how it’s going,” on the update about her knee.
Plenty of fans and her fellow Young and the Restless stars commented on the post to wish her a speedy recovery.
“Heal well and in time knowing you you’ll get your groove back!” commented Lauralee Bell.
Andy Cohen also commented to say, “Get well soon.”
Eileen‘s co-star Melissa Claire Egan opened up about being diagnosed with heart disease earlier this year.
