PodcastOne has acquired exclusive sales and distribution rights to “Dropping Names… and Other Things,” an interview podcast co-hosted by Brent Spiner and Jonathan Frakes, longtime friends who starred on the TV show “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”

In each episode of “Dropping Names,” Spiner and Frakes sit down with people they’ve met across decades in the industry. “Whether you’re a sci-fi fan, a film buff, or just here for the laughs, this is the show where great stories meet great conversations… and a few names get dropped along the way,” according to the podcast’s description.

To date, their guests have included Seth MacFarlane, Nathan Fillion, LeVar Burton, Alan Tudyk, Ron Perlman, Joel McHale, Felicia Day, Jane Leeves, Michael Dorn and Tom Bergeron.

Launched in January 2026, the first 15 episodes of “Dropping Names” have garnered nearly 3 million downloads.

“Brent and Jonny are beloved television stars who happen to also be magnetic podcast hosts,” says Kit Gray, president and co-founder of PodcastOne. “Through their show and in each episode they guide dynamic, engaged and hilarious conversation connecting us with their guests like never before. Audiences feel like they’re guests at the most exclusive party in town and our advertising partners are excited to engage with the podcast in unique and creative ways,”

PodcastOne’s show lineup includes “The Adam Carolla Show,” “The Jordan Harbinger Show,” “Karma and Chaos,” “Stassi With Tay,” “Off The Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe,” “LadyGang,” “Court Junkie,” “Pop Apologists,” “Varnamtown” and A&E’s “Cold Case Files.” PodcastOne is a subsidiary of LiveOne (formerly LiveXLive), an L.A.-based digital media company focused on music and live entertainment.
