Fans have been wondering how Lady Gaga welcomed her baby into the world and now new birth details have been revealed.
A new report has revealed that Gaga, 40, used a surrogate to bring her daughter into the world.
TMZ reports that Gaga‘s newborn baby girl, Rose Bean Polansky, was born on June 9, 2026 in Los Angeles.
Lady Gaga suffers from fibromyalgia
Gaga has been open about her struggles with fibromyalgia. In her 2017 documentary Five Foot Two, she discussed how chronic pain has affected her life.
The Mayo Clinic notes, “Fibromyalgia is a long-term condition that involves widespread body pain. The pain happens along with fatigue. It also can involve issues with sleep, memory and mood. Researchers think that fibromyalgia affects the way the brain and spinal cord process painful and nonpainful signals. That increases your overall sensitivity to pain.”
While Gaga said in 2020 that she was in “head-to-toe pain” while doing an interview with Oprah Winfrey, she said the disease was under control by 2025, though she still had days of “pain.”
Fans were wondering if Lady Gaga was pregnant
Gaga‘s baby news took fans by surprise because she had never appeared pregnant in public.
She walked the red carpet on May 15 for the release of her MAYHEM Requiem film and she was also on the red carpet on April 20 for the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2, which she made a cameo in.
Gaga hinted at motherhood in an interview last year
Back in October 2025, an interview aired on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in which Gaga called motherhood her “next starring role.”
Gaga said, “I would like to do many things. All of these things are open. But, what I really want is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”
Congrats to the happy family!
