Chris Pine is hard at work on his new movie!
The 45-year-old actor arrived on set of his upcoming movie The Catch to film a few scenes in a suburban neighborhood on Monday afternoon (August 10) in Brooklyn, New York.
For his time on set, Chris sported a brown suede jacket over a cream-colored T-shirt paired with jeans.
Joining Chris on set was co-star Druski, who sported an all black outfit.
Emma Stone will also be starring in The Catch, which is being directed by her husband Dave McCary.
The rom-com is “described as Bull Durham meets Notting Hill with Stone playing the most hated woman in baseball.”
Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, will be playing Emma‘s bodyguard while Saturday Night Live star Ashley Padilla will be playing her sister.
Hacks co-creator Jen Statsky and Adam Ruins Everything writer Travis Helwig wrote the most recent script, which was originally penned by Patrick Kang and Michael Levin.
The Catch is set to hit theaters on May 21, 2027.
Chris was attached to the project back in February and he’s no stranger to romantic comedies after having his breakout movie role as the romantic lead in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. We recently learned that he’s set to appear in the upcoming third movie of that franchise!
