Trinity Tatum didn't get dumped from the Love Island USA reunion.
In fact, the season eight champion—who won alongside boyfriend Bryce Alakai—had a sense of humor about rumors that she was prematurely ejected from the cast gathering hosted by Andy Cohen and Ariana Madix.
"I hate I even have to say this but don't believe everything on the net," Trinity wrote to fans on her Instagram broadcast channel Aug. 10, alongside several crying emojis. "I did not get escorted out."
The reality star's update set the record straight on an earlier fan tweet that alleged, citing someone they knew attending the taping, that Trinity had to be escorted out.
And the reality star took a cross-platform approach to shutting down the rumors.
"This is not true," Trinity also commented on a TikTok breaking down the rumors that started on X. "idk where this info came from lmaoo."
As for why fans falsely speculated that the 22-year-old had to be separated from the cast at the event?
The rumors pointed to a confrontation between Trinity and fellow Islander Sol Dean, an allegation the model also debunked. As she clarified, "Also we never had an altercation."
However, Trinity has previously confessed Sol is the "one person" from her stint in Fiji that she hasn't remained friends with.
"She said a lot of unprovoked things after she left," Trinity shared during a July 29 visit to WWHL. "I didn't have an issue with her. I never once had a problem with her because she didn't come for me [on Love Island]."
But it was Sol's critique about Brinity (viewers' couple nickname for Trinity and Bryce) after being dumped on day 14 that rubbed the makeup artist the wrong way.
"For her to make comments about me and my relationship," Trinity continued, "it was a little off-putting."
With Trinity confirming she will remain seated the whole reunion—set to air Aug. 31—keep reading for a glimpse at the cast’s show-stopping looks.
