Yungblud has broken his leg in a motorcycle accident, but apparently that isn’t enough to keep the rock star offstage.

The singer revealed the injury on Sunday (Aug. 13) in an Instagram post featuring photos of himself with his injured leg, humorously including “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John as featured audio on the post. He kept the announcement characteristically brief: “Leg f–ked. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of).”

He then made it clear that his upcoming shows are still on the agenda. “Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be f–king mad. See you next week, Let’s ride,” he wrote to conclude the post.

A representative for Yungblud confirmed to Billboard that the 29-year-old musician broke his leg in a minor motorcycle accident last week at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. The annual rally, which hauls in motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world, took place Aug. 7-16.

Despite the injury, Yungblud seems determined to stick to his touring plans. His references to Portugal and Belgium point to his festival appearances at Vilar de Mouros Festival and Pukkelpop Festival, respectively, where he’s scheduled to perform in the coming week. Judging by his message, he doesn’t seem particularly interested in letting a broken leg change the energy.

Yungblud is touring his 2025 album Idols as well as his collaborative EP with Aerosmith, One More Time, which hit No. 9 on the Billboard 200 in December.

His latest update suggests fans shouldn’t expect a broken leg to turn down the volume on his famously high-energy performances. Whether “standing” is technically required for a Yungblud show remains to be seen. But the singer has made his position clear: Portugal and Belgium, he’s coming — broken leg and all.
