Netflix‘s most-watched title last week wasn’t a film or a television series. Rather, it was a video game preview.

A 27-minute extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI landed on Netflix on August 27, raking in 31.1 million views globally over the weekend. That put it at No. 1 on the English film list globally as well as in 87 of the 93 countries that Netflix tracks viewership in.

Rockstar Games released the 27-minute video six hours after its Netflix debut on YouTube, as well. Over there, the footage has 17 million views as of publication. However, Netflix and YouTube count views very differently. As of last month, YouTube counts a view the moment a video starts to play. Netflix derives “views” from dividing hours viewed by runtime.

This is a nice comeback for the popular video game franchise after a 13-year hiatus, signaling high anticipation for the new offering. Grand Theft Auto V, which debuted in 2013, currently holds the record for the biggest entertainment launch in history by earning $1 billion in just three days.

Captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, Grand Theft Auto VI preview gives fans the most in-depth reveal yet at the upcoming release.

The Whisper Man, which also launched over the weekend, had to settle for second place on the English film list with 23.2 million views. Over in TV, Death of a Pastor’s Wife debuted to 19 million views, taking first place for English series.
