EXCLUSIVE: Manon and Margot Gage, the French-American duo who as a writer-director team go by the Gage Sisters, have announced their debut feature, the dark comedy-drama Necropol.

Manon, a BAFTA nominee who appears in Peacock’s upcoming horror series Crystal Lake, is set to star opposite Fala Chen (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and Ty Molbak (Babylon).

Based on the Gage Sisters’ upcoming short film of the same name, Necropol follows Astrid (Gage), a sceney podcaster whose life unexpectedly changes when she interviews Nate (Molbak), a charming guest who is not all he seems. Chen’s role and further plot details are being kept under wraps.

The Gage Sisters will produce under their Périvier Films banner, alongside Meghan-Michele German and Siddharth Ganji, with WGA Award nominee Halley Feiffer (American Horror Story: Delicate) exec producing.

Prior to Necropol, Manon Gage produced and starred in the BAFTA-winning 2023 interactive film trilogy and 2022 Tribeca Film Festival Official Selection, Immortality, from Half Mermaid Productions, and was nominated for a BAFTA for her performance. She was also nominated for AMC’s Best Female Creator for her indie television series Real Live Girl, produced by sister Margot, at Stareable Fest Los Angeles in 2023.

Manon Gage is repped by Karfiol Law; Feiffer by CAA and Adventure Media; Chen by UTA and Anonymous Content; Molbak by Harden Kurtis Kirsten Riley and Framework Entertainment; German by Eastern Talent Agency; and Ganji by Replay Collective.
